7 Stress-Busting Techniques

1. Run away One of the most effective ways to defuse stress is to run away from it -- or at least walk briskly. In a study that asked 38 men and 35 women to keep diaries of activity, mood, and stress, volunteers felt less anxious on days when they were physically active than days when they didn't exercise.
