As I lay on my bed

Memories came back so right

Every little thing you said to me

Kept on singing like a song in my bed

 

 But when you said the word "we're through"

I cannot imagine it was said by you

And when you kissed me for the very last time

I cried and wished to stop the time

 

What were you up to? I asked you

You said you found someone true

And he made your world so new

But loving with all my heart

Would really make me depressed when we're apart

 

But I know that it will never be

And teardrops fall from my eyes

While I say, "you are free".
